All New Comedy Nights
Tuesday 21 May
The King’s Hall is delighted to present its second evening of outstanding comedy in partnership with The Comedy Network. The night will give you the opportunity to see three more of the UK’s most up and coming comedians.
Carl started performing stand-up in 2005 and his conversational, silly sense of humour saw him win a host of awards (Chortle Best Newcomer 2007, Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year 2007 among others) and become a regular at all of the finest comedy clubs in the UK and Ireland.
Carl has also appeared on various TV shows including Mock The Week, Dave’s One Night Stand, Stand Up for the Week and Russell Howard’s Good News.
Mark has been performing stand-up regularly since 2008 and has rapidly established himself as one of the most interesting and exciting new comics on the circuit
This summer, Mark will be performing at the Edinburgh Festival as part of The Comedy Zone, the Fringe’s longest running and most prestigious stand-up showcase.
Ahir Shah is one of comedy’s brightest new talents, whose sharp brand of stand-up features a blend of socio-political awareness, energetic delivery and jokes.
Ahir took his debut solo show, Astrology, to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2011, where it was described by Spoonfed as being “a more accomplished offering than you will get from 90% of the more experienced stand-ups at this year’s Fringe.”
