We are asking for public views on the future of our venue.
The King’s Hall is managed by Canterbury City Council but requires a subsidy, as the cost of running it is not covered by the income it generates.
A review is now underway to explore whether the hall can be developed into a more profitable venue, if an alternative management approach could be considered or whether a different use would be more appropriate.
We are very keen to hear your opinions and ideas through our interactive online review. Alternatively, you can write to the King’s Hall, Beacon Hill, Herne Bay, CT6 6BA. The deadline for ideas and comments is Tuesday 28 February 2017.
Once these have been considered a formal consultation on options will take place in spring 2017.
Comments from the consultation will be reported to councillors.
Formal consultation on the proposed options for the future will take place in Spring 2017.
